The family and I.
Hello good people. My name is Emily. I live in a tiny town (okay, technically city) in far western Kentucky. Hence the name I’ve given this thing. I’m a mom, wife, total weirdo and fan of many, many things. I have a degree in print journalism, but have used the writing portion of it very little since I graduated from college 13 years ago. And now I feel old. Anyway, I actually miss writing, not the reporting because being scared to talk to strangers and good reporting just don’t mix, so I decided to do this and put some words down occasionally.
I have no rhyme or reason going into this, so let’s all keep our expectations low. Disappointment for all! You’re most likely going to find a healthy mix of mom stuff, entertainment stuff, food stuff and wrestling stuff (yes, wrestling stuff, loads of it, come prepared). Also expect a good dollop of spelling and grammatical errors. Don’t worry, my husband will point these out to me. Trust me on this. No need to dogpile. I’ll get around to fixing them, most likely. Probably not. Consider it an exercise in patience for yourself. Also, if I ever put anything math related on here, double check that shit, because it is most likely wrong. Journalism and math also just don’t mix.
I’ve started rambling, which you should also get used to, but I’ll wrap it up now and try to actually write something. We’ll see how it goes.

My workstation. Also, if your charitable organization is selling braided bread goodness, we need to talk. That’s some tasty stuff.
